What we did this weekend...

Euphoria was a fantastic gathering. For their 5th gathering,  the Euphoria ladies decided to mix it up by holding the entire gathering at Alternate Routes in White Marsh, Maryland.  This was a unique gym dedicated to Tricking, Parkour and Ninja Warrior, certainly a fun place to train.  The floor was small, which led to an intimate setting that forced people of all skill levels to trick together on the same floor.

Friday Night: This was the battle night, which is the first time that we had seen battles held on the first night of a gathering.  Team TDX was represented by David Fisher, Eduardo Ruv and Justin Carney which went on to win every battle of the night.  Aiden Kennedy won all his 1v1 battles.  He has won every battle I have seen him in, this kid is on a sure route to greatness at age 11!

Saturday Night: Eduardo Ruvalcaba, Malik Shepard, JayR DeGuzman, Melissa Basch and Jefferson Lewis III gave very insightful seminars on everything from tricking to video production to acroyoga.  The night then proceeded to stay hype and the session stayed strong until 3am.  MaddGainz was in house providing trickers with energy and recovery drinks.

Sunday: After 3 days of minimal sleep, many tricks, and great times with great friends, the gathering had to come to an end.  It was very sad as always leaving such close friends that we only see a handful of times per year.  We had our final meal together at Noodles and Company and after a hilariously long good bye that spanned the length of the strip mall sidewalk, the trickers departed.
